This policy explains what personal data Pareto Solutions LLC collects through paretosolutionsllc.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have. It applies to this website only.

1. Who we are

5. International transfers

We are established in the United States, so data you submit is processed in the United States. Where we receive personal data from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, transfers are made under the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, where applicable), supported by a transfer impact assessment. You may request a summary of those safeguards using the contact details above.

6. Export control notice

Pareto Solutions LLC provides defense services regulated under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (22 CFR Parts 120–130). Because of that:

  • Inquiries may be screened against U.S. Government restricted-party lists, including the Consolidated Screening List.
  • We may ask you for citizenship or nationality information in order to make a U.S.-person determination before providing any controlled information, course access, or technical discussion. Providing it is not required to submit an inquiry, but we cannot release controlled material without it.
  • Records of inquiries, screening, and access determinations are retained for five years as required by 22 CFR 122.5.

Do not submit classified, export-controlled, controlled unclassified, or otherwise sensitive information through this website. This site is not an approved channel for such material. If you need to discuss controlled information, say so in general terms and we will arrange an appropriate channel.

7. How long we keep it

  • Contact form submissions: 12 months from last contact, unless the inquiry becomes an active engagement or falls under the export-control retention requirement above.
  • Export-control screening records: five years (22 CFR 122.5).
  • Server and security logs: typically 30–90 days, per our hosting and security providers’ retention settings.
  • Cookie preference: stored on your device until it expires or you clear it.

8. Cookies

This site uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for it to function, plus a cookie that remembers your consent choice. We do not use analytics, advertising, or social media tracking cookies. You can review and change your choice at any time through the cookie preferences link, and full detail is in our Cookie Policy.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to your personal data; correction of inaccurate data; erasure; restriction of processing; portability; and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Some of these rights are limited where we are legally required to retain records — export-control records in particular cannot be deleted on request.

To exercise any right, email contact@paretosolutionsllc.com. We will verify your identity and respond within 30 days, or tell you why we need longer.

If you are in the EEA or the UK and believe we have handled your data improperly, you may lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

10. Is providing data required?

No. Providing personal data through this site is entirely voluntary. If you choose not to provide an email address, we will have no way to respond to your inquiry.

11. Children

This site is directed at government, defense, and critical-infrastructure professionals. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
